On Friday night, Sarah, Megan & Aimee, along with several friends, went to an annual Formal Dinner in Middleburg. The theme was 50's, but the girls chose not to go in "costume", as what girl doesn't like to get all dressed up in "formal". Here's Sarah & Megan looking stunning!
Here they are in a cool 50's car someone brought for them to pose in! (Brave man letting all those kids in & on his cars!)
They had someone construct this cool soda fountain where they served dessert and soda in glass bottles! Kind of looks like my idea for our "garage"/dining room-my 14 foot coffee/soda bar!
Megan got "asked" to go to the formal with Josh S. Don't they look cute!
Another cool old car with the gorgeous young ladies in it! Looks like what you would see in a parade with the beauty queens inside! Why is no one waving?
Their "Gang"! The rest of their "gang" went to a volleyball tournament in Pittsburgh, so this picture is short about 4-6 teenagers. From l. to r. is Beckie H., Rachel W., Sarah A., Rachel H., Aimee A., Megan A., Josh S., Josh Mc., & Ian T.(Caitie's brother with his fancy tux!)
Aimee, being a freshman, got to go for the first time! (Your turn will come in two years, Annah!) Doesn't she look grown-up and beautiful! (I already said Sarah was beautiful!) Well, a good time was had by all and afterwards they had a barn party at the Simmons joined by the teens from the tournament, and the girls had a sleepover here. Combine all that with the seminar Bruce & I had on Friday night, and going to Elim to pick up Ashleigh on Sat. and this was a pretty full weekend!
