GRADUATION!

The Graduates: Josh S., Josh M., Adam S., Nate, F., Jeff E., Megan & Sarah.
Megan & Sarah in front of their "table" at the reception afterwards. Don't they look so gorgeous!
Most of the pictures they took were with their friends and family. So here's Aimee with the twins.
Ashleigh with the twins! Joe & Caitie and Liz & Matt weren't around when Aimee was taking pictures. I was too busy socializing with the Tabones, Sangrees & Will & Dana & family. So thankful to them for coming! It made my night to see old friends!
Adam & Katie's cousin from Texas, Meg has been visiting and has become a good friend to the girls. This is Meg with Renee Simmons & Annah.
The twin's friends who came for the graduation (minus a few). Katie S., Rachel W., Sarah, Natalee K., Jane T.(that's the back row l. to r.) Front row: Becky H., Meg & Nicki (a friend from Shermans Dale the girls met when they were in "My Fair Lady") Sarah, Rachel, & Ruth Hammar also came and Alex & Ian (Caitie's brothers). Oh and they invited Mike Zentichko because he's there S.S. teacher at New Buffalo and he came. Grandmom A. and Liz Weidner also came with us.
It was a very personal ceremony. As each graduate walked in, their name was on the screen up front and after they were seated, a slide show of pictures of their life was shown on the screen with a graduation picture of each student. Jeff did an incredible illusion show! He was handcuffed by his assistant and put into a big black bag that was tied, and he got into a big trunk that was locked. Two volunteers from the audience (one was Timothy Kenny)came up to inspect the trunk to see if it was solid. Then the assistant stood on the trunk holding a big curtain around the trunk and within seconds (while suspense music played) Jeff was standing where she was and he then opened the box and she was tied and handcuffed inside! It was like watching Houdini! This was his senior project and he got thunderous applause several times! Not like any normal graduation ceremony! The graduates then did a funny skit about a bus trip to a retreat and the things they did for fun while in the bus. It ended with reading a license plate that had a message for everyone "HRT4GD" (heart for God). It was funny as they were trying to figure out what it said. Another unique twist to a graduation ceremony. As each student came up and the parents gave them their diploma, Mr. Clark read a letter that each parent had written for their son/daughter, (a tear jerker). It all ended downstairs with snacks and punch and a look at each graduates "table", that represented their life. Megan & Sarah did a fantastic job displaying pictures, art work, Barbie dolls, Megan's baby doll, medals, volleyball, books, movies. Well Done Girls! They received many gifts & cards and Liz W. brought them two bouquets of roses, so Dad presented them to the twins as I handed them their diplomas. I think Liz loved the idea! Wish you all could have been there! Only four more of mine to graduate! Over half way there! At the rate Lindsey is going, I can graduate her & Josh together!

It was such a blessing to attend Megan and Sarah's graduation. Thanks for inviting us. We both agree the ceremony was very unique and personal. You forgot to mention the song that the youth pastor sang. One of the blessings of getting older is watching the children of our friends grow up. The girls both have such sweet spirits and it will be fun watching what God has for their futures.

Congratulations Sarah and Megan! One of my earliest memories of you guys is when you were toddlers and we would all sit around at our Sleepy Hollow house asking you both who was your favorite. You would invariably pick Christian or Dana or me just because we were your new friends and I guess because the names were novel, and Erin would get so annoyed! =). I remember her complaining how she did practically everything for you guys and this is how you repayed her... =)

Thank you for including us in this very special celebration. It was a lovely graduation, and we felt so privileged and blessed to be included.
Sarah and Megan looked so beautiful and mature. I's been such a joy to watch the children grow into such beautiful young ladies, and still be a part of your lives. We praise God for making us "family" and have and continue to make WONDERFUL memories together. We're very blessed to have such wonderful relationships that go back back so far, and have weathered some storms together =).
