HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELIZABETH RACHEL!!!

Sure had a hard time keeping Liz's pictures to a minimum! There were just too many cute ones that told the story of her life with family and friends! Liz was born in Rochester, NY at 1:24 AM while Bruce was attending Elim Bible Institute (some of the BEST days of our life!). Here's just a few of her pictures! This is her first Easter with Grandmom King, April 1982. Grandmom had 3 dresses smocked for each of the girls and then she made them matching sweaters, the color of the smocking.
Christmas 1982. Just love them with their baby dolls. Further down you'll see them with their baby dolls the Christmas of 1983.
When Liz was 4, she was in my cousin, Kathy's wedding. She did great, but she was a little nervous! She was so adorable!
These pictures got a little out of order when I dropped them and didn't realize they slid out of order. Anyway, I think Liz is about 3 here. Look how cute her hair was and her cute little grin.
Very typical! Erin & Michelle were always trying to "mother" Liz and she didn't like their interference most of the time! This is one of those times! This was Feb. 1984 (I thought it was Christmas 1983, but the back of the picture said otherwise). In March 1984, Liz had a kidney removed due to hydronephrosis (kidney filled with water-not functioning), and another surgery in May 1984 to repair the ureters on the other kidney. It was a miracle no damage was done to the remaining kidney!
Liz and the little mothers with Joe. Liz liked to pretend Joe was "Danny". "You're a good boy, Danny, and don't say you aren't!" A pretend lunch. Liz had the cutest pony tails. One day she cut one off! We then had to cut the other side to match!
Liz holding Ashleigh. She always loved to hold our babies! I could always count on her to keep the little ones happy! This one's for Matt! Thought he'd like to see Liz as a firegirl!

At the playground with cousin Alex. Don't remember why they had name tags on! They were quite a pair!
Playing dress-up with Erica, Lawren & Emily. Liz has on my dress and the other girls have on Erin & Chelle's dresses.
My great babysitter again with Aimee. She's going to make a great Mom one day!
In Ohio with our friends, the Johnsons, Jesse, Carrie & Melissa! We have great memories with them in Md. and at their Coolville Farm.
Have many Easter or Christmas pictures of Liz with Alex-it was a traditional picture! Liz has always been very photogenic!

Michelle, Liz & Joe used to hang out a lot with Chris & Brian. Here's one of those good old times!
Liz's first job was at Carlisle Early Education Center doing what she's very good at-taking care of children!
Here's Liz with her two best friends, Heidi & Holly!
My gorgeous beach girls-in California! Liz & Chelle went out to visit Erin & Jason one Thanksgiving. This June at Holly's wedding, Liz & Matt, looking very handsome and beautiful! Happy Birthday, Liz! You have a genuinely sweet spirit! You are so easy-going and fun to be with! Love that you love to cook and bake, like me! Sorry you have to work on your birthday and I am leaving for MD/NC! But enjoyed celebrating on Sunday! We all love you and think you are very special!

The correct thing Liz used to say to Joe was "You're a BAD boy, Danny and don't say you aren't!"
