Aimee, Josh, Lindsey & I started out last Tuesday evening, stopping at G-Mom & G-Dad's house for an overnight stay (Thanks, Mom & Dad, again for the great hotel accommodations!). Heading south for Michelle's at NC is an 8 hour + trip, so leaving from MD gave us a 2 hr. advantage, especially going
thru DC on a weekday! We got to
Chelle's around 9:30AM (left at 3:25). Allie was at the door with the twins waiting!

Of course, we were all eager to see Adam! Here he is sitting like a little man on
Chelle's lap, appearing to watch us all! What a cutie he is and how great to be around a sweet little newborn again. I got my baby fix! Look how chubby he's getting!

Little Miss Allie "talking" on her cell phone! She talks a lot! A lot of it needed deciphering, but after a couple days, I could figure out what she was saying.

We went to the Camp
Lejuene Beach (
Onslow Beach) one day (we left Adam &
Chelle home resting). It was VERY windy, but nice & warm (except for the water). Here the girls are standing on the balcony of some
pavillions they have on the beach. There's a picnic table, cupboard & shower in each. They're in a group of six
pavillions and I think they were for rent. The beach was pretty deserted, so we used one to have our snack and rinse off the sticking sand. Allie spent A LOT of time running up & down the balcony, up & down the stairs and in & out of the shower (as you'll see in a picture below).

Aunt Megan & Adam. The twins flew down Oct. 1 to be with Allie when
Chelle went to the hospital & then help out while Chris went to CA.

The car ride home after stopping at
McDonalds (of course, when you have Josh & Lindsey along!)

Aunt Aimee with Adam. It was Aimee's (AND Megan & Sarah's) first time to be at
Chelle's house. Now everyone in our family has been there.
Annah stayed at the
Hammar's this time since we could only fit 6 in our car. She stayed with
Chelle last year when Chris was in Iraq and hopes to go again next spring.

Adam spent A LOT of time on one of our laps! He's so
snuggly!

Couldn't get this to turn here (I do know how to flip it, but didn't do it before and it won't do it now), but this is Allie in the shower stall hiding (which she loved to do MANY times and in all the different showers!) The little stinker!

Aunt Lindsey bugged us a lot about holding Adam, so we let her have many turns. She actually did very well.

Aunt Sarah with Adam & his eye's open, but not a good shot to see them!

Allie with her pirate mustache. She has the cutest pirate Halloween costume! She modeled it for us but we didn't get the picture. Sure
Chelle will post one later.

Hanging out in the
sunroom!

Getting ready to go to the beach. Allie has on one of Lindsey's old dresses that Liz gave her years ago! They got along great most of the time. Their two strong personalities only clashed a couple of times. Allie likes to be the leader, but did well letting Lindsey boss her around.

Josh and his fascination for building castles! He's going to build them when he grows up for a living! It's in high demand today!

Allie loved "Dosh"! Thanks, Chelle, for letting us all invade your house, all the yummy snacks and food. It was great just hanging out and being with you all! Wish Chris could have been there!

Looks like you guys had fun. Adam is so cute!!
I just noticed that it say "4 days with Allie and Adam" what about Chelly? Better fix that before she gets her computer fixed!! :)
"Allie & Adam" has a nice ring to it and it's just a title! Take no offense, Chelly! We loved the four days with you, TOO, even if you're name's not in the heading!
Actually Mom, I havent been to Michelle and Chris' yet. I guess I'm the only family member.
But it looks like you guys had fun!
