Trick or Treat!

On Halloween, while photographing the little trick or treaters by the side of the house, I decided to take a picture of the new siding (especially for my Dad), another phase in the finishing of the garage-turned-family room. Unlike Aimee, I'm not the best at taking pictures (not even good)! Below are the little trick or treaters, all excited about going to Sally's neighborhood and getting candy! Josh is a cowboy (not a farmer!), Aiden is a Marine Spy, Lindsey is Snow White, you can guess who Kyle is! and Ryleigh was not feeling well and we didn't think she would participate, so Erin said she was a sick child in her pjs! (she did participate, though, and perked right up when it came time to get candy!)

The kids were anxious and eager to get going all day! Here they are waiting patiently for us to get in the car. I think we were waiting for Erin! They had a great time and filled those pumpkins with lots of cavity producing sweets! Some thoughtful folks did hand out pretzels and other carbs, but Ryleigh kept trying to give hers away. She somehow knew that candy was the preferred treat and wasn't going to settle for a bag of pretzels in her bag! Sally's neighborhood was a fun, neighborly event with lots of folks sitting on their porches, handing out candy and enjoying seeing all the little kids in their costumes! They were so cute! And Erin and I got our exercise for the evening!
