Matt & Liz's Wedding Day!

When I first posted this blog yesterday, the only picture I had of Joe & Caitie at the wedding was one of Joe with his mouth full of food-definitely not blogworthy. Tonite, Aimee was on Alex's Facebook and found this good one of Joe & Caitie, so we stole it! Now I have a picture of all my kids at the wedding (minus my sons-in-law and Kyle)
Before the wedding all the bridesmaids, Aimee & Annah and Allie & Ryleigh came to Matt & Liz's house to get ready for the big day! I think they had a great time getting their hair done, painting nails and just plain hanging out! Aimee can do some neat shots with Ashleigh's camera, as in the above b & w shot with only the blue in Liz's sweatshirt and the pink in Ryleigh's coat.

Ryleigh capturing Annah in Saki (the dog's) cage!

Liz's beautiful bouquet! The girls carried gerbera daisies in memory and honor of my mom, who loved those flowers! The day was not the same without my mom there! We would have had a nice time later talking on the phone about the wedding.

The gorgeous bride with her gorgeous (and crazy!) bridesmaids! Some color shots of the dresses will follow!

Allie & Ryleigh playing on the steps before the wedding. Hopefully Michelle will blog some color pictures of Allie, Adam & Chris (I don't have any).

Lindsey, the very happy and cute flower girl.

You won't often see Josh dressed like this! He was down to his undershirt not long after we got to the reception! Now you can see how beautiful Liz looks in color!

Alex & Ash chilling before the ceremony (literally & figuratively!) In my day we wore long sleeves in November!

These southern girls were colder than the rest of us! Michelle either had on this down vest or Chris's suit coat!

The only other color bridesmaid's pictures I have. This is Megan & Sarah with Liz.

Aiden, at 6, can hold Lindsey, at 7!

The gold-bowed cake is fake! The cake they are cutting is a hotel back-up for when bakers get the date of the wedding wrong and there is no cake for the wedding! Since Liz loves to bake (and originally was thinking of making her own cake!), she enjoyed picking a special cake. She took it very well, when the hotel said that the cake never showed up and they couldn't get hold of the bakery. If you stop by Liz & Matt's house today, you can have a piece of the real wedding cake that was delivered today (only one day late!)-they've got plenty!

Aimee & Josh were the first ones on the dance floor! They sure had fun!

Their first dance! Awwww!

Bruce chose "You Are So Beautiful" to dance the Father-Daughter Dance with Liz.

Those cute little program giver outers! It was a BEAUTIFUL and very fun wedding! I actually got to enjoy everything since the hotel was taking care of the reception. For Erin & Chelle's wedding, we cooked and did most everything ourselves! Now I know why people have weddings at these places! If you're wondering why there are no shots of the whole wedding party, these pictures were taken before the wedding, before the guys showed up. Somehow, after the wedding, none were taken! Check out Erin or Michelle's blog! (Though Erin is moving to NC tomorrow and probably won't have her computer until the movers bring it in a week!)

WOW! CONGRATULATIONS!
Elizabeth looked simply beautiful, but where are the pictures of you Vickie?
I'm so glad it went well, and as for the cake, most people only have for their first anniversary, but they'll have for years to come =)
You were in my thoughts and prayers in Newport,RI
Looking forward to hearing all about it in person.
