The holidays started out exciting this year when on Sat., Dec. 22, Matt gave Liz a spectacular diamond ring (NOT a Christmas gift!), and we were all in a dazzle of wedding plans on Sunday at our Sibling Gift Exchange and Christmas Eve Eve Candlelight Steak Dinner! Those computer laptops sure come in handy for looking up a vast array of wedding dresses! Right after Christmas we were at David's Bridal watching Liz look beautiful in several gorgeous dresses! What fun! Many bridesmaid colors have been chosen, thrown out, rechosen and no decision has been made as of yet. Everyone is excited and we are happy to add Matt to our family! He is a warm, generous, loving, hard-working guy.

Congratulations, Liz! We were so glad to hear about your news. Hope you have a lot of fun getting your wedding plans together - you won't have a shortage of help or opinions! =) I'll look forward to seeing "the ring" sometime in person.
