HAPPY 81ST BIRTHDAY, DAD!!!

This very handsome young man is my Dad in his 20's! Due to the lateness of the hour (and Dad knows why), I'm not going to dig through photos tonight and since this picture is on the wall of my dining room-it's very easy to grab and scan and a VERY good picture of my Dad.


My Dad has been through a lot these past few years with my Mom's health issues! He hasn't had an easy time, especially after Mom had her leg removed. He took good care of her and even did a much better job bandaging her wounds than the health care professionals! I think my Dad would have made a good doctor! Thank you, Dad, for giving up your life to serve our Mom! She would be very proud of how well you are taking care of Buddy! He loves you as much as he did Mom! Thank you for being so caring! You've always been so concerned about our lives and made sure everyone was being taken care of! You've shared your talents (woodworking, fixing, cooking, frying chicken, bandaging, painting), your bus driver's tips, and your love with all of us! You've given us a strong, hard-working heritage and how to be thrifty! You've bestowed us all with many, many gifts of which we are truly grateful. I don't think we could ever repay you and we all get too busy with life to remember to show you our gratitude. Can a small birthday blog thank you enough for being our Dad, our Grand-Dad and Great Grand-Dad? We hope we have many more years to wish you a Happy Birthday! Love from all of us here in PA.
