Rise Up & Dance!

Aimee's play, "Rise Up & Dance", was a huge success! We all went Sat. night and enjoyed 2 hours of fast-moving dancing, singing & drama! Sarah Mayfield, a local friend, has been writing, directing, starring & dancing in plays for years. The girls have done several of her local productions. She has very creative ideas and a lot of talent, but locally didn't always have enough "stars" to quite pull a production off the way she would have liked to. Now, in Harrisburg, at the Youth for Christ annual (for 35 years) Passion Play, not only did she have a lot more people to work for, but also had a bigger audience. The singing was fantastic, the dancing very well choreographed (by Sarah) and the whole production was very entertaining, as well as thought provoking spiritually. Aimee & Beckie did an awesome job and were in most every scene, being "Darkness Dancers". They portrayed, with Satan, how evil was lurking around from the beginning of time. GREAT JOB, Aimee, Beckie & Rachel, too! The evil, lurking Darkness Dancers with Satan, in their "Matrix" dark trenchcoats!

This was their first costume in the opening scene when they were shown as angels cast down from Heaven. Hope no angel I ever meet has dark, sinister make-up on like that!

Don't have any during the show, as no picture taking was allowed and since Aimee had the camera during the show, we couldn't take any after. But they didn't wear these costumes in the last scene anyway.
