For the last several years, our DEAR old friends from Purdum/Damascus, MD travel 2 hours to visit us! (Actually, they visited Feb. 3, but with my computer acting up, I'm behind on posts!) We met them at a Prayer Meeting at Chuck & Janet's in October, 1976. (Adam & Steph weren't born yet!) Chuck & Janet are to the far right leaning on the counter. Beside Janet in the pink coat is her sister, Johnnie and her husband, Dennis. In the black coat is Chuck & Janet's daughter, Marsha. Marsha's son, Adam & his wife, Stephanie are behind Marsha. (Adam & Steph were from Damascus, but just bought a house across from the Antietam Battlefield in Sharpsburg). We spent MANY Sundays through the years in their home playing pinochle, watching movies, having potluck, swimming, camping & TALKING (after a home church service). They have loved us through the years and when we get together, we eat, talk, eat, talk and talk some more! We sat at the kitchen table for over 7 hours (except when we went to the dining room table for dinner!) Alot of catching up to do! We had a great time, Erin & Chelle, Liz & Ashleigh-wish you had been here! Sorry, too, that Eddy & Micah had to work and Matt was busy! Maybe next time!Tuesday, February 13, 2007

(Sorry I had a typo and did not know how to correct it =)
Sounds like my kind of fun and folk...eat and talk, talk and eat and talk some more!
How about planning another night out - Al says how does dinner and a movie sound? "Amazing Grace"?
Aww! I wish I could have been there! I love those people too! :)
Vicki, call me before Erin & Jason go back, so they can come over - we'd love to see them if it's possible.
